Measured Time - The Beating Heart of Digital Instruments is a short documentary. It focuses on the issues of time accuracy and networked music performances in the context of digital musical instruments. These subjects are presented as major technical challenges, providing new and unique forms of musical communication and collaboration. 

By proposing different contributions related to interaction design, computer science and time and frequency research, this film aims to provide a multidisciplinary overview on the development of new musical instruments and practices.
